Tech' Expats
Texpats are different
Technical people live online.

They are the biggest users of the web, the most 'modern' workers; and have their hands on keyboards and eyes on screens more than any other group of humans.

They learned how small the world is far earlier than the non Technical people of the world, and worked remotely before "remote working" was a thing.

They have built systems for global users, supported users in other countries, and attended online meetings - all while the rest of the world worked nearby.

They learned a long time ago that the world is small, that the tech that they build is used all over this small world, and that they can now chose where in the world they live.

When they want to move to another country, they typically can.

Texpat Types
Some Technical expats want to return home. These are often the easiest and quickest moves as they know the country & culture, and do not need any visa assistance.
Others can be migrants who are in your country with an interim visa, or still overseas planning their relocation. Visa assistance can buy long term loyalty while avoiding local remuneration price wars.
